Manus is valued at $500 million. Its developer, Butterfly Effect, is negotiating a new round of financing with several US venture capital institutions, with a target valuation of at least $500 million, a four to five-fold increase from its previous round of financing valuation of $100 million at the end of 2024. The scale of this round of financing may reach tens of millions of dollars, and the funds will be used to break through server resource limitations, expand the team size and expand overseas markets. Manus is positioned as the "first general intelligent agent" that can autonomously operate computers to complete complex tasks such as travel booking, stock analysis, and cross-platform data integration. Since the beta version was released in early March 2025, it has become a "phenomenal product" in Silicon Valley in just three weeks. However, its skyrocketing valuation has also caused concerns about bubbles, and its profit path is not yet clear. Whether it can consolidate its position as the "first echelon of general intelligent agents" through this round of financing is worthy of continued attention.
