Kimi is a text AI, also known as a large language model (LLM). It is an AI assistant developed by Darkside of the Moon based on the moonshot v1 model.
Kimi was originally called "Kimi chat" and had an independent website Kimi.ai. After March, it was renamed "Kimi Smart Assistant".
There is no need to distinguish between Kimi chat and Kimi Smart Assistant, they are generally referred to as Kimi.
